Operations Research; optimization problems

This line of research studies the development and implementation of cutting-edge optimization techniques to solve real problems of great complexity. Our approach is quantitative, using the latest technologies in the field of optimization. The main areas of interest are:

  • Optimization of production planning.
  • Other practical combinatorial optimization problems.
  • Realistic scheduling.
  • Techniques for automatic forecasting.
  • Multi-objective scheduling.
  • Cooperative scheduling techniques and parallel.
  • Advanced metaheuristics techniques.
  • Empirical analysis of algorithms.
