The area FLOSS in the Instituto Tecnológico de Informática encompasses all the activities in ITI around free software and open technologies and it is located within the Department of Technologies and Services. The mission of this area is to increase the competitiveness and technological innovation of companies through the implementation of development activities, through the transfer of license-free applications and through working methods which enables collaboration between companies generating sustainable business models around free software.
